Computationally Disintegrative Therapy

VR installation + collaboration with Liam Baker. Ingredients include broken machines, a scanned room, the HTC Vive, Unreal Engine 4, GPU particles and generative audio.

In the shadows beneath disciplines, I counterintuitively improvise with ambient technologies. I work alongside intelligent machines to protect and explore the emergence of novelty across domains. In other words, I endeavour to birth beautiful, impossible things.

I am currently building liquefied, movement-based virtual environments in Unreal Engine 4, using Maya, ZBrush, 360° 4K video and burgeoning 3D scanning techniques. Germinating is a mixed virtual reality installation programmed to bloom in the springtime, somewhere in the wastelands surrounding a dying megacity.
